The Computer Science Department
at Fullerton College offers transfer-level
courses taught
by qualified, experienced faculty.
Articulation agreements with four year institutions allow students
to complete most, if not all, of their first two years of study at
community college costs. Industry standards regarding design
and programming style are followed rigorously, allowing for
successful job training and reentry into the current job
market. New languages and technologies are introduced into
the curriculum in a timely manner to keep pace with this fast
changing industry's requirements.
The Computer Science laboratory,
located in the Math Lab in the LLRC building, is reserved
for use only by Computer Science students and qualified
Mathematics students. The lab currently has over twenty PC's
running Windows 2000. Lab aides and instructors are
available during scheduled hours to help students succeed.
Students can obtain an
Associate
of Science Degree in Computer Science.
